“Main kisi ki zaroorat nahin khwahish banna chahti hoon,” says Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in ‘Bulleya‘ from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil that releases tomorrow September 16. Everyone has been talking about the tantalisingly physical chemistry between Ranbir and Aishwarya in the promos of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil but the moment you end up finish watching ‘Bulleya‘, you shall be snowballed with the intensity of the sexual bond that the duo are sharing in the song and hopefully in the film in totality.
‘Bulleya‘ is another terrific song composed by Pritam, sung brilliantly by Amit Mishra with liberating lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Ranbir the Rockstar Kapoor is singing this high pitched Rock-Sufi track with the exhilarating intensity that only he can bring to the table. There’s a touching moment between Fawad Khan and Anushka Sharma in the song that’s married to silence but eyes leak away the tears of longing or were they the tears of unrequited love!
Karan Johar is a name associated with grandeur and lavishness. Since the last few years he has been consciously collaborating on realistic cinema draped in heightened artistic accomplishment. With ‘Bulleya‘ adding on to the two promos that have been launched so far, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil looks like a conscious attempt at blending commerce with extraordinary Art. For the time being, the crescendo of passion in ‘Bulleya‘ has prompted me to write this poem:
An Equal Music
A wink from those velvet eyes
Is enough to ignite lust,
The ice-cream kiss
Is laced with hunger of longing
Inviting lips, the caution slips
Too much of beautifulness
Flowers dew-dropped with fragrance
Passion knows no boundaries
When the Equal Music plays
And the mind swims…
